Katherine Decker’s work creates an entry into the deeper rhythms of life. She is an artist and designer whose work explores the relationships between art and place, embodiment and nature, ritual and transformation. Her work is rooted in beauty, symbolism, sensory experience, and the natural world.
Through painting, collage, installation, creative gatherings, and immersive experiences, she invites us to observe, feel, and connect—with ourselves and our Earth.
She created Wander from this intention. Part artist’s field guide, part creative practice, and part personal keepsake, it grew from a desire to experience travel differently. It invites one to look closer, follow curiosity, respond to place, and preserve not only where we’ve been, but how it has changed us.
Wander: Threshold Art Retreats La Napoule Edition was developed specifically for gathering and creating at Château de La Napoule and refined during Katherine’s own time there. Her intention is for these pages to become uniquely yours; filled with photographs, color, sketches, fragments, observations, insights, and all that asks to be remembered.
The most meaningful journeys leave us seeing differently long after we’ve returned.
