Villa Marguerite Private or Shared Room
Mer Bleue Private Suite (one available per session)
The gated Villa property includes a full kitchen, dining room and living room, shared by all residents, and complimented by an outdoor dining pergola and garden space for conversation or quiet reflection.

A Note about Accessibility:
Unfortunately, due to their age and unique architecture, the Château de La Napoule and Villa Margarite are not ADA compliant, nor accessible. Accommodations are on the 2nd and 3rd stories with no elevators. While we can assist in getting your luggage to your room, the buildings contain many short and longer staircases required for full enjoyment of the program. If you have accessibility needs, please contact us directly to discuss or inquire about Threshold Retreats at other venues that are ADA compliant. We regret this limitation and continue to work on improving the accessibility of our facilities.
This one-of-a-kind exclusive apartment resides inside the the Château walls, just across the street from the Villa and surrounded by mediterranean gardens and ramparts. Get away from it all in this climate controlled suite with its own living room, sea view terrace and kitchenette. Sleeping accommodations include one king bed in the primary room, one full size fold-out bed in the second small bedroom, and a sofa sleeper in the living room. One bathroom serves all. The Mer Bleue can accommodate six people total, but is most comfortable for two to four guests.

Our facility is an active museum and artist residency, not a hotel. While we are always striving to improve our physical spaces and our guests’ experiences, we take pride in inviting you to this unique and magical opportunity to “Live like an artist!”
Please note that when you reserve an accommodation type, the actual room you will be staying in will be designated just prior to arrival.

Please that when you book a room type, you are not booking an specific room. This is simply because many of our rooms can serve as either a private room or a shared room. Thank you for your understanding!

Each room has its own en suite bathroom with a shower

Each room has its own air conditioning and separate controls

The rooms are all on the 2nd or 3rd floors of the Villa; there is not an elevator. We are available to help you with getting your luggage to your room.

There are several rooms that can serve as both a shared and a private room, so when you make your reservation you are making a reservation for a room type, not a specific room. The only reservation that is for a specific accommodation is the Mer Bleue

At this time the Villa is not ADA accessible, nor are any of the rooms

The majority of the rooms have 2 twin or 2 full beds so when you are booking a private room you will have 2 beds; the only exception to this is the Mer Bleue
The Mer Bleue:
This is a beautiful and exclusive apartment that is a separate part of the Chateau, directly across the street from the Villa. It has its own sea view terrace, which you can also look out onto from the living and dining rooms. It has a small kitchenette, a king bed, a pull-out full size in a 2nd bedroom, and a sofa sleeper in the living room. It can accommodate 6 people total.

We would like all of our participants to keep in mind that although we always strive to keep our lovely Villa Marguerite's upkeep as a huge priority, we are not a hotel so we kindly ask guests to not expect hotel-level accommodations.
